Vivek Gondi

Vivek is the founder of the venture whose goal is to make music learning affordable, available and enjoyable to all. This venture started as a need to connect earnest students with qualified teachers. This platform is intended to help learners and mentors to connect, exchange and improve their music knowledge and performing skills. His contribution has been right from conceptualization of this site, choosing appropriate e-learning tools, getting the right courses that are required for students and also improving the features of the site on a regular basis. On the musical front, he has been a flautist for the past 10 years and has performed in several places. His initial training of flute was in carnatic music which laid the foundation for swara knowledge and fingering. He developed fascination for Hindustani instrumental music after listening to renditions by gurus like Pt. Hariji, Pt. Pannalal Ghosh etc. He spent time in learning Hindustani flute training from Sri Vivek Sonar ( a disciple of Pt Hariji) for few years. Further, at Bangalore he learnt for few years from Sri. Venkatesh Godkhindi, a renowned Hindustani flautist where his concepts of tala took good shape. He is a regular performer in all in-house programs and has done couple of CD recordings.  On the academic side, he has MS (Instrumentation) from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore to his record. He attributes all the knowledge, and credits the exposure in music due to the education and knowledge he received from Sri Sathya Sai Institute and more importantly because of the grace of his Guru: Sri Sathya Sai Baba
